General terms and conditions
Welcome to Söderfors Herrgård! We look forward to providing you with a first-class experience. The following terms and conditions govern your stay at our hotel, Söderfors Resort & Spa AB (org. no. 559448-9311). Unless otherwise agreed in writing with the hotel, the following rules apply.
Booking and Confirmation
A booking is binding as soon as it has been confirmed and you have received a booking reference. This can be done verbally, in writing or via our booking system. When booking, you are required to provide your name, address, arrival and departure times, and how to pay. Different rules may apply to different price options. See the details of your booking for more information.
Age requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to book a room at Söderfors Herrgård. A person who books a room for a minor is responsible for the room and the booking regardless of whether they accompany the minor or not.
Unregistered Guests
For the safety of our guests, only registered guests and our staff are allowed to enter hotel rooms or other areas with restricted public access.
Conduct of guests
Guests are expected to behave in a way that does not disturb the stay of other guests. The hotel reserves the right to refuse service or dismiss a guest without refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate.
Children's policy
Children between 0 and 3 years stay free of charge if they sleep in the same bed as an adult or if the guest arranges their own bed. Special rates apply for children aged 4 to 12.
Cancellations and No-shows
Cancellation policy may vary depending on the rate option selected at the time of booking. Please read the rate information carefully. Unless otherwise agreed with the hotel, or unless otherwise stated for your rate option, cancellations must be made by 18:00 the day before arrival. If you have booked through an online travel agency such as Booking or Expedia, cancellation must be made through them. No-shows or late cancellations will be charged with a one-night cancellation fee.
Arrival and Departure
Your hotel room will be ready from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out should be no later than 11:00 on the day of departure.
We will do our best to accommodate requests for modified check-in and check-out times, but we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.
Early Departures and Extension of Stay
If you need to depart earlier than planned, please inform the reception. This may involve price adjustments. If you wish to extend your stay at the hotel, you must inform us at the latest by 18:00 the day before your planned departure date.
Unavailability of Rooms
If the hotel is unable to provide the same room as booked, you are entitled to an equivalent or upgraded room at the hotel at no extra cost.
Payment
For some price options, a prepayment may be required, which will be indicated at the time of booking. This prepayment will be deducted from your final bill or used for any cancellation/no-show fees. Unless otherwise agreed with the hotel, the hotel bill is payable on receipt, which is usually on booking or on arrival. The hotel accepts most major credit cards and Swish, but is not obliged to accept credit cards, checks, vouchers or foreign currency unless the hotel has offered this.
